Dreama Hill, Child Development Center Director
I am director here at Deep Run Child Development Center. I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about myself and to let you know how excited I am to be here at Deep Run Child Development Center. Here is just a little bit of personal information. I am a North Carolina native (GO HEELS)! Most of my family are State fans (I am the outliner). I spent my childhood in the Piedmont of North Carolina. My grandparents owned a large produce company where my two older sisters, and I worked their land every summer as children. The High Point, Greensboro area is where I grew-up but moved to Raleigh upon marrying where I taught Kindergarten at a private Christian School before moving to Virginia. I moved to Chesterfield 11 years ago. I thought I was going to be a stay at home mom again but God had other plans. I ended up going back into the classroom. I love children. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child learn and grow! Being able to share Christ and planting a seed in the hearts of small children has rewards that are unmeasurable. I have a large family, with a 7, 11, 14, 21, and 22-year-old at home. Our home is always busy! I spend a lot of time at Cheer Competitions, Hockey Games and Practice, and on a Lacrosse field.
I have vast experience in early childhood education. I have been in the industry for more than 16 years as a teacher, supervisor and Early Childhood Educator Trainer. I absolutely loved being in the classroom and engaging with the children daily, but also enjoy helping teacher establish well running classrooms that are conducive to fun, learning and of course laughter. My goal here at Deep Run Child Development Center is to provide a loving, nurturing, educational Christian environment for the children that have been entrusted in our care.
